My name is Prem Krishnamurthy. As a designer, author, and educator, I’ve worked with leading museums, artists, architects, and non-profit institutions across the world over the past twenty years. In 2015, I received the Cooper Hewitt’s National Design Award for Communications Design. In 2022, I curated FRONT International: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art, a multi-city contemporary art exhibition that explored art as an agent of transformation, a mode of healing, and a therapeutic process.

Department of Transformation builds upon this experience, gathering together artists, thinkers, therapists and others who are working towards individual, collective, and structural change. This newsletter is a forum to premiere upcoming events, publications, resources, and recommendations. It’s what I use to connect with people and share interests.
